On this page, you are looking at the Permaseal MLS-R Up Pipe Gasket. This is the top up pipe gasket that lies between the turbo and the up pipe. Exhaust gaskets experience more heat than most gaskets on the vehicle. And although they are made of metal they can become brittle and come apart which will create an exhaust leak.
The Permaseal units are made of multi-layered steel materials that will create a great seal. Anytime you remove the up pipe for maintenance or upgrades, it is highly recommended that you replace the upper and lower up pipe gaskets.
